A WorldClass Experience at Valobra Master Jewelers

Disfruitar Chefs: Oriol Castro, Eduard Xatruch, and Mateu Casañas

The venue for the event was the beautiful Valobra Master Jewelry atelier. Valobra Master Jewelers, established in 1905 in Torino, Italy, boasts a 115-year history as the official master jeweler to the Italian Royal family. Franco Valobra is a fourth-generation master jeweler, who honors this legacy by crafting unique, exquisite jewelry pieces in the Houston showroom and offering luxury timepieces to clients. With a location in the heart of River Oaks in Houston, as well as in New Orleans, Louisiana, and Lugano, Switzerland, Valobra Master Jewelers is a premier destination for those seeking exceptional jewelry and timepieces.

The gourmet menu was created in partnership with Monarch Hospitality. Among Valobra's jewelry collection, guests sampled Chilean Sea Bass paired with Caviaroli pearls, award-winning Argentine ribeye, tenderloin beef skewers, 6 Star Antonious Caviar twinkies, Polanco Caviar, and assorted cheeses paired with Azorean fruit jams and Argentine honey. A master carver sliced to order Cinco Jotas, black label 100% Jamon Iberico de Bellota giving the guests a taste of an authentic Spanish delicacy.

Mixologist and WorldClass sales representative, Thomas Burris created signature cocktails for the event that featured Black Pig Gin from Portugal. A standout of the evening includes the WorldClass Old Fashioned, a spin on a classic cocktail that used a Cinco Jotas Jamon Iberico-infused bourbon.

Paired with the food were wines from Texas-based Duchman Family Winery. Established in 2004 by Lisa and Stan Duchman, the winery aims to bring exceptional winemaking to Central Texas and the Hill Country. Driven by their passion for unique Italian grape varieties and the similarities in weather between Texas and Italy, the Duchmans collaborated with growers in the Texas High Plains AVA to cultivate grapes that would enable winemaker Dave Reilly to craft true Italian-style wines.

Music was provided by Spanish fusion and classically trained Flamenco guitarist Guillermo Serpas. Guillermo's newest album, Guittara Bohemia can be found on Spotify.
